MLL standout Adams (@sprlax) named Goalie Director for @THEDUKESLC Nationals at mini-camp

Drew Adams, a Springfield-Delco and Penn State graduate who has excelled at the high school, college, pro and International levels, has been named the Goalie Director for the Dukes Nationals.

Adams also was celebrating the birth of a baby boy.

Adams’ appointment was announced Saturday night during the Dukes Nationals tryout and mini-camp at the University of Pennsylvania.

Adams (Class of 2005) was a two-time All-EPLSA selection and an All-American at Springfield while also excelling for the Duke’s LC. At Penn State he was an Honorable Mention All-American and a three-time All-ECAC pick who set the PSU record for saves with 694.

Adams has played seven years for the Long Island/NY Lizards and was the Warrior Goalie of the Year in 2012, and an MLL All-Star in 2012, 2013 and 2015 when he led the Lizards to the MLL championship. Adams also was a member of the silver medal winning USA men’s team in 2014.

Saturday’s event drew more than 150 players.
